About Me
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ghareeb which means a stranger in Arabic. A person who is unique and different from others could be Ghareeb as well. I have decided to name myself Ghareeb due to my extensive traveling and being away from family for years. Only a few people get to travel and be strangers. I am very happy that I had the chance to do so. I can truly tell those who haven’t had this opportunity that they have missed a lot. By being Greeb, I was able to learn and embrace other languages and immerse myself in amazing cultures. The most satisfying aspect is meeting great friends.
The first time I left my family was after high school to study English in the United States. Originally, I came to the USA not knowing the English alphabet. However, with the help of my wonderful teachers and communication with the nice people that I have met, I have drastically improved my English. At this point, I still struggle some but I will never stop learning for I love this language.
Following this, I attended King Saud University where I obtained my bachelors degree in law. That was in the beautiful city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. While there, I applied myself diligently in my studies, learned a lot and became well prepared to practice law. Right after my graduation, I had the chance to practice law for two years. During those two years, I had a dream to go to the USA to obtain my graduate degree. I am very glad that my dream came true and I earned my masters degree from Valparaiso.
Now that I have finished my masters, I look forward to start my PhD. I will be residing in the same state that I am in right now and that I love.
I love to travel and recently (in the last two years) I have been to four countries: The United States, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. My hope is to visit the rest of the world when time permits.
